One of the wonderful things about being a part of Morning Star Lutheran Church are the relationships that bless my life. In this community of faith, my relationship with God as one of His children is strengthened, my relationship with Christ as a disciple is challenged and deepened and my relationship of reliance and trust upon the Holy Spirit is encouraged.
Even more than that, I am surrounded by a family that shares the ups and downs of my everyday life. One of God’s great gifts to me here is that I am not only a pastor in this place but I am also a husband, a father, a child, a grandson, a friend and more. I receive as much from the cloud of witnesses around me as I share! I am connected to each of you through faith and that living, breathing relationship is a true gift from God.
Morning Star would not be a place to Pass on Faith if it were not for the faithfulness of those who are around and especially those who have gone before us. We have been provided a place for our faith to grow!
BY FAITH we are being called to provide a worship space so that brothers and sisters; children and grandchildren; strangers and friends might hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and grow in their own life-changing faith. You and I have the opportunity to give to others what was given to us: a sacred place where God’s gracious love in Jesus Christ is proclaimed and praised.
BY FAITH, my family and I will be supporting this construction and renovation project through sacrificial giving, knowing that God supplies for our every need and multiplies every gift that is given. BY FAITH, we are part of this wonderful family at this exciting time. BY FAITH, we can provide a place for faith for the generations to come. Won’t you be a part of such a good and faithful thing.
